Masjid & Quranic Institute

Alhumdulillah, we are helping build a mosque and Quranic institute in Sudan. The building of the mosque is being organised by Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Alfatih Qaribullah

A message from Sheikh Babikir, Ulfa Aid Chairman

I pray and hope you, your family and those whom you love are well in sha Allah. I receive a lot of requests from around the world for help and when I can, I do, however when I can’t I ask others to help. I have here a request from an excellent Shaykh in Sudan to complete a Masjid and a Quranic institute built on 2400 sqm and because of the pandemic it has been difficult for them to complete.

I am requesting on their behalf – please do help – remember that the reward for building a Masjid is Jannah in sha Allah. The prophet ﷺ said: “whoever build for Allah a Masjid Allah ﷻ will build them a palace in Jannah”

Ulfa Aid

What is Ulfa Aid?

Ulfa Aid is a registered UK charity, founded in 2004, by Sheikh Babikir Ahmed Babikir.

Ulfa Aid is committed to building and supporting communities both locally in the United Kingdom and across the globe.

How did it all get started?

In 2004, after seeing the destructive tsunami that took place in Indonesia, the charity was set-up to build homes for homeless. The charity thereafter continued to work in disaster zones in Bangladesh, Kashmir, Pakistan, Darfur and Somalia.

How does it continue to grow?

Our approach is to research, develop and implement lasting solutions on a micro-level that are sustainable to the local community.

Our focus is on serving the needs of those who are vulnerable, marginalised and isolated. We advocate for change on behalf of the most disenfranchised sections of our society.
